CHARLIE JOHNSON, senior Director, real estate

Prior to joining Candela, Charlie oversaw all real estate matters in the project development lifecycle at First Solar, focused on specific projects in California and the Southwest. Charlie joined First Solar in 2017 and assisted in the development and financing of over 1GW of solar projects during his tenure. Before his time in solar development, Charlie led permitting and site acquisition for telecommunications projects throughout the western United States. His experience working on real estate issues began as an attorney where he practiced law for more than seven years. Charlie holds a J.D. and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Montana.
